First of all I have enjoyed your show and articles in the newspaper so much. If anyone is looking for a great place for lunch, this is it! It’s a 'special' place and the food is out of this world. The tea is served by the pot enclosed in a beautiful tea cozy which may be purchased in their lovely gift shop. They have a house blend that is so delicious. Once you've been there, I know you will want to return very soon as the atmosphere is so quaint and relaxing. The servers are also excellent and don’t rush you.

I have always liked Indian food, my husband on the other hand has had a bad experience with it. I talked him into trying the Kashmir, not looking like much on the outside. It was beautiful inside. They played soft Indian music, our waitstaff was excellent and the food was fantastic. At the end of the meal they pass you a steaming hot cloth to clean your hands with.

They have a salad bar that was fresh and constantly being replenished. Our lunch was quickly served and was hot! I had the salad bar and the chicken pot pie. The chicken pot pie was delish. My Mom enjoyed the 2 mini burgers and salad bar. My Sister had the salad bar and quiche. Of course my Sis gave me a bite of the quiche – it was great! There was plenty of food. The menu they have is never ending. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant.

The meal started with stale bread and a wilted (greens only) salad with a bland dressing. The dish I ordered was more like a soup - it had whole pieces of chicken, with the bones and skin on, floating in a brown liquid with huge orange peel slices. I couldn't even eat it. Hungry for a good dessert - forget it! The key lime pie was presented nicely, but had no flavor. Very over priced!

I've been eating at Ronaldo's for years. My patronage began when they had a restaurant in Methuen, about three minutes from my house. My favorite dinner is Veal Cullen Rucci. It's an off menu special that's a wonderful combination of veal, ham, cheese on top of penne with a Madeira wine sauce.

My wife, son, and I went there for supper for my wife's birthday. At six o'clock, we walked right in and sat down. My son had shrimp over linguine which he thought was very good. I had fried shrimp over French fries both of which were ruined by too much spices. Same for their fried mushrooms and onions. After awhile, we couldn't eat them. My wife’s steak was horrible. It tasted as bad as it looked and she couldn't eat it.

We all ordered lemonades which never arrived, but were given water and menus. We told the waitress we were ready to order, but she disappeared again. Ten minutes later she returned, we ordered, then waited ten more minutes for our 'Greek' salads, a rather mundane dish of iceberg, one cucumber slice, one dry tomato slice, and one olive. No Feta cheese in sight. Our entrees, two mousaka and one lamb souvlaki, arrived. We found the mousaka somewhat pasty, the lamb tough and overdone.

The service was terrible and the food just mediocre. No one greeted us at the door or seated us, we stood there for several minutes while staff brushed by us. Finally we asked if we could just seat ourselves and were told yes. We waited about 10 minutes for a waitress to come over. We ordered 3 soft drinks and a beer; the soft drinks came in about 10 minutes and after 20 minutes the beer still had not come. After asking twice about the beer, we were told they were out of that kind. After 35 minutes, we finally had our beer. When the meal finally came, we asked for mayo which never came. We had to again ask twice and by then the meal was cold. The bread was dry on the sandwich and our daughter's salad was 'terrible'. The bill came to over $50 which was a total waste of money.

It was great! The service was over the top. The food was perfect. I had fish and chips, my husband had the whole clam plate. The fish was the best I have ever had. It was very fresh, white, flaky, and cooked to perfection. The fries were also perfect. The garden salads were larger than one would expect. The clams were magnificent.

We have eaten at Molise a number of times and each has been A+. The dining room is beautiful, the staff couldn't be nicer or more efficient, and the appetizers, soups, salads, and entrees are freshly prepared and outstanding. It's impossible to name our favorites. The menu is just incredible! The servings are so generous that we have yet to order dessert. Molise is always a 5-star dining experience! Buon Appetito!

Went there Sunday afternoon with a group. We were all very disappointed. All 5 of us had seafood plates. The different types of fish were only distinguishable by their shapes. Everything tasted like it was cooked the day before and reheated. Fries were tasteless. Fish chowder had no taste and was gummy. We don't expect white tablecloths there, but cole slaw, tartar sauce, fries and fish all piled on one small plate make it look like a lot of food (which it wasn't). The only bright part of the experience was the sociable waiter, Nicholas.

We went for lunch and the waitstaff was a little slower than desired, but the food was fantastic. I got a fisherman’s platter which has French fries, Onion Rings, Shrimp, Scallops and Haddock. All for only $18.95. The meal itself was fabulous. My wife got the turkey club and she said it was good. The toast was just barely beyond golden brown but she liked it.

Five of us tried the new Tokyo that opened Near Market Basket and Wal-Mart. We went on Sunday after the game. We loved it. Everything was fresh and very well prepared. The tempura shrimp was the best ever. My husband had sushi. He was very impressed with the freshness. Two other meals teriyaki steak and a noodle dish were excellent too. The Manager was very friendly and stopped by to see that all was to our liking.

We had a family event at the Country Spirit Restaurant and can't say enough about the service we received -thanks Kathy and Rick. We had 18 people there for dinner and no one complained, nothing but compliments to the chef and his staff, thanks again Country Spirit.

Stoneforge Foxboro
Washington Street (Route 1),
Foxboro, MA
(508)668-9800
For a restaurant that claims to have top notch service, signature steaks, and consistency - Stoneforge in Foxboro does not live up to their website's praises. Prior to our last few experiences, we loved Stoneforge. This last trip, however, was such a let down. The service says it all: the runner 'dropped' our steamers (translation, the waitress forgot to put them in), the waitress forgot my husband's salad until 5 minutes before the meal came, she miss ordered his beer, the lobster macaroni and cheese (an old favorite) was dried out from sitting under the heaters, and my steak tip salad came with three, yes only three, overdone steak tips. Our meal took a total of two hours, appetizer to meal only. All of the Stoneforge restaurants have a lovely ambiance, warm and inviting, but the quality of the food for the prices and service just isn't worth the money.

This is a casual restaurant that opened within the last few months. Our first visit was the second night they were opened. They had a few kinks to work out but the food was delicious. We ordered fried clams. The meal came with a salad, clams, cole slaw and your choice of fries, onion rings or baked potato. We did not receive a plate with fries and a few clams on top. They give you a very substantial amount of soft, sweet clams. Last night when we went we ordered the clams and a haddock plate. Once again the clams were absolutely delicious and the haddock was just as good. The owner and the wait staff are very friendly and accommodating. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone.

A group of us recently dined at Cafe Escadrille in Burlington on a Thursday evening. The parking lot was nearly full. It's easy to see why. Our cocktails and meals, all 14 of them, were outstanding. Once seated the service was slow to non-existent and arrogant. We ordered (2) 1 ½ lobsters, which were at best 1 ¼ lbs, they came quickly, before our wine, in small plastic tubs with nothing except a plastic pick through a tired lemon wedge. When asked for crackers and a bib we were told, only after I got up from the table and went to a waiter at the service area, that there were no crackers, use the stone on the table, and he reluctantly found us two plastic bibs. The melted drawn butter was in a little plastic thing and was more like oil and cold. The server wasn't much help.

We were shown to our table by the hostess who could not muster a smile or a friendly greeting. Our drinks were weak, possibly left sitting at the service bar waiting for our appetizer. The potato skins were deep fried and more like chips covered in cheese. The soup was called Italian Wedding Soup; it turned out to be a spicy tomato beef soup similar to minestrone. We ordered Veal Oscar and Turkey Dinner as our entrees. The veal cutlet looked and tasted deep fried and was covered with tough Lobster and overcooked asparagus. The turkey was a large portion served over bread stuffing then covered with a brown gravy like substance. We found everything to be over cooked and over spiced. On the plus side, the restaurant is tastefully decorated and clean.

Just had to let you know this nautical and homey eatery definitely deserves a praise, not a zing, as it received in a current review. The freshest seafood, prepared in delicate seasonings and cooked to delicious perfection, has always been a savored treat whenever we are on the Boston waterfront. We can never pass up the steaming fish chowder (which includes lobster chunks) even though we know how satisfying the seared salmon, sautéed shrimp or fried fisherman's platter are. We have never been disappointed in all the 8 years we have been going. The service is quick, the food is fabulous and the parking is free!
