I ordered the prime rib and it was mostly fat, small and expensive. My daughter had the chicken finger plate with fries, and the chicken fingers were horrible. My broccoli and cheese side dish was clearly from a bag of frozen florets. The waitress and hostess were very nice.

After asking for something quiet, preferably in a corner when I made the reservations, for a dinner out with my wife for the first time in years we were seated directly next to a table for 14, having a birthday party. Needless to say—not quiet by anyone’s stretch of the imagination. The dining room we were seated in was freezing cold and the dinner itself was completely overcooked.

First, I had ordered my food after my friends who were in line in front of me, I got my food first, but it was missing the bacon. So I was done with my burger before my friends got their food, and when they got their food about 45 minutes later, they were missing items they ordered.

Four of my good friends and I did an over night at the Park Plaza for my friend’s 40th b-day. We decided on the Bonfire restaurant for dinner. Very nice atmosphere although dark (was a little hard to read the menu). We had a new waiter but he was very nice, although slow, we waited a long time for our food, and some drink orders. His 'assistant' that filled our water glasses was excellent! He handled what our waiter couldn’t or didn’t, with a great personality. Food was excellent. Great presentation. Pricey but worth it.

First I thought it was your typical Asian restaurant, but to my surprise I was very wrong: the food was beyond belief. They offer so many dishes that other Thai restaurant don't have. My favorite dishes are crispy duck and red snapper tamarind. Both dishes are outstanding and very nicely prepared and the presentation are so beautiful.

Over the past 3 weeks, I have had the pleasure to frequent The Black Cow twice. The food, ambiance and service are top notch. The specialty drinks are remarkable. The waitpersons are very knowledgeable and attentive, but unobtrusive. Their sweet potato fries are scrumptious. And save room for dessert! On both visits, we were welcomed like family and never felt rushed. What a gem of a restaurant!

This is such a great Italian Restaurant. The food is delicious. Chicken parm was fantastic, portion was huge, service was great. The atmosphere is casual and you can bring your own wine. It’s good homemade Italian food. I think people are forgetting about the little Italian restaurants out there (which are the best) by being charmed by the chains.

I have visited Feng Shui in Chelmsford twice now for lunch. They have a lunch buffet that is second to none. I am always skeptical of buffets, but the food is so good here that there is always a large lunch crowd, which also means the buffet is fresh. They offer a variety of appetizers which remind me of some of the offerings you would see in Boston’s Chinatown Restaurants. There is a good variety of Asian dishes including freshly made sushi all which have a fresh taste.

Since this restaurant reopened my husband and I have dined there three times. Two out of three have been below par. The veal marsala was undercooked. The fettuccine alfredo with chicken was terrible. The color of the sauce was bright yellow and tasted more like a béarnaise sauce. My husband's spaghetti and sausage was bland. The red sauce was tasteless. Let me add that this restaurant used to be one of our favorites.

This Tuscan-style restaurant is lovely, with rustic decor and comfortable oversized chairs. The servers were a little under-trained (there was a bit of confusion about our order among the multiple servers) but very pleasant, and the service was a bit slow at times. The food, however, was excellently prepared and beautifully presented. Portion sizes were just right for my smaller appetite, and with the bread at the table (which was fabulous), generous appetizers, and rich desserts, no-one left feeling hungry. I loved the lemon lime basil martini; my companion hated it. This is a new restaurant that feels like it's still finding its feet a bit, but it has plenty of potential to be an excellent substitute for going into Boston.

I so want to 'praise' this restaurant because the food is so good, but the service is so bad, I just can't! I have been here three times and each time the service gets worse. We arrived for our 11:00am reservations for Easter Brunch and the manager acted confused and then sat us in the upstairs function room where the food was not ready. The only thing available at this time was coffee and Danishes. When we were finally able to eat, they had the typical breakfast food, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, hash, beans and chicken with stuffing. They did not have any other typical brunch food like eggs Benedict, french toast or waffles. A half hour later we found out that the waffles and french toast was down stairs and ice cold. The waffles and french toast never made it to our room.

This was our 4th time eating at the Grotto. We have always had a very positive experience. We always choose the 3 course pre fix menu for $35 each, a very good value. Tonight for our first course I had an asparagus soup with small gnocchi and shaved parmesan. Also on my table were the creamy garlic soup and the beef & mushroom fondue. All excellent. I chose the beef tenderloin entree (medium rare) cooked perfectly served over a parmesan risotto with grilled asparagus and a flavorful jus. The service is attentive without being too personal.
