The American Barbecue advertises 'Genuine Wood Smoked BBQ' and judging from the crowd there at 5:30pm last Saturday night, it is very popular. We each ordered the sliced beef brisket plate ($10.95) that came with a choice of 2 sides (ff & baked beans on one plate and mashed sweet potatoes & mac n'cheese on the other) and a large piece of corn bread. You order at the window and before we had time to enjoy the free peanuts and popcorn our order was ready. Everything was excellent.

I visited the restaurant for my first time with my family and was very impressed by the food. I chose a special which was a Tokyo Sirloin brushed with a teriyaki sauce and served with fried rice. It also had fried mushrooms with a delightful crumb crust. My kids had the chicken fingers which were decent and my wife had the haddock and lobster pie which was to die for. The dining room was a little outdated and the service was OK but the food made up for the lack thereof.

My husband and I stopped into this fairly new area restaurant on a Friday evening for dinner. The host was most welcoming, seating us in a comfortable table in the window. The interior has a warm, comfortable contemporary look. There's a nice bar area with plenty of seating. Our waitress took care not to rush us and gave us all the time we needed. We started with a glass of wine and the fried calamari appetizer. It was wonderful! Crisp but not over done with sliced hot peppers and a drizzle of olive oil. My husband ordered the NY strip steak and I had the tips for an entree. Everything was cooked to perfection

The family recipes are authentic and traditional from Veracruz, a state situated in the Gulf of Mexico. It is the best Mexican food I have ever eaten! The burritos are huge and delicious! The owner and employees are always so friendly and accommodating.

My husband and I went out for my birthday. We chose Tomasso's because we had a gift certificate. We shared an antipasti of mushroom crostino with shaved ricotta salata and a salad of charred peppers, roasted tomatoes, black olives, bread, and fresh basil. Excellent! However, for dinner my husband ordered veal braised in white wine and tomatoes. He stopped eating it because it was 75% fat and 25% meat. The manager told us that she had had some complaints about this dish before.

I ordered two cakes from Sweet Dreams and decided to also pick up a few sandwiches and treats for our family party. It's a tradition that we always, always, always have an Italian rum cake as part of the celebration. Well I picked up my order, returned home and promptly refrigerated the cakes. The next day, after dinner, we opened up the cakes and not only was my order incorrect it wasn't even close to what I had ordered. I phoned the shop twice, both times the owner was out, and neither phone call was returned.

I can put up with that but I was also told that if I had to cancel in less than 48 hours my credit card would be charged $25.00 per person. There were 10 in my party. So, if by any reason I had to cancel in less than 48 hours it would have cost me $250.00. So, I did not make a reservation at Luciano's.

The presentation of all dished was perfect. Our waitress was outstanding and explained about dishes that were a specialty of the house. This restaurant is a cut above the standard Chinese fare. Many of the dishes are healthy alternatives that are well presenting and taste so good. The sushi was among the best that I have ever experienced. We enjoyed many of the seafood dishes that were fresh and very tasty. Moo Shi was prepared by the server at your table. We were told that Asian C was derived from Asian Concept. This place is incredible. Everything about it is first class except the prices. Once seated, the server was attentive, helpful and efficient. We selected a nice chardonnay from an impressive wine list. I ordered the stuffed zucchini appetizer and my wife the scallop appetizer which was served on a bed of homemade creamed corn. Both items were excellent choices. The house salad was large enough to split. I had a filet mignon topped with bleu cheese and my wife the 'bronzed' mahi mahi. Both were excellent choices, full of flavor in every bite.

We hadn't been there for a couple years but we used to like it and went there last night for our 15th Wedding Anniversary. The service was slow. The steak was tough. The Lobster Corn Chowder and the Hot Fudge Sundae were both room temperature by the time they got to the table. The table, by the way, had one leg shorter than the others so it rocked back and fourth whenever one of us put any weight on it. I finally steadied it by putting a couple sugar packets under the short leg. So, cold soup, a melted sundae, a steak almost too tough to cut, half my martini splashed over the table, and an inattentive waiter. We probably won't be going back to the Common Man.

An example was the escargot appetizer that had just the right amount of garlic. I split the rack of lamb with my mother, which was cooked individually for each, it just melted in your mouth. Afterwards a dessert tray was displayed. We were almost too full to partake, but we shared. Couldn't pick a favorite as they were all very good.

The food is superb! Bouillabaisse is chock full of fresh seafood, swordfish is excellent. Appetizers especially oysters are fresh and delicious, wedge salad is just ok. Wine list is terrific from reasonable to the outrageous. Wine glasses look like they are from the neighborhood bar. We sat down with our drink and the server asked us if we were ready to order: a little over anxious. My wife got a fried fishermans combo, and she couldn't finish more than half. The fish was very fresh and the scallops and clams were unbeatable. My son got a kids junior beef meal. The junior beef was more like a big beef. It was hot and delicious also with fries and a soda for only 4.99. We spent a little over $25.00 and had more than enough to take home.
