CARAMEL
SAUCE. Mix sugar and water together in a pot and then let cook until
color changes to deep golden brown. Remove from stove and add stirring
consistly. Add ½-cup of heavy cream. When smooth add 1 ¾ TBS. of
unsalted butter (pour into heat-proof pitcher). Add 1 TSP. Vanilla.
PÂTE
SUCÉE Mix flour, butter, sugar and egg together. Roll out
and form into miniature tart pans. Bake on cookie sheet at 400 degrees
until brown.
Mix
together sliced bananas, chopped walnuts and enough caramel sauce
to coat the bananas and walnuts. Place in tart shells. Sprinkle with
powdered sugar. |
