Pat Whitley
has had a long and illustrious career in New England and the national media spotlight.
In addition to owning and presiding over Whit’s Media since 1986, hehas
also co-hosted one of Boston’s top rated morning shows, Clapprood & Whitley,
on WRKO and WHDH. In addition to WRKO in Boston, his admirable radio career included
his own programs on WBZ, WHDH, WMEX/WITS and was a substitute host for the Larry
King Show on the Mutual Radio Network.
In the 1970’s Pat was program director
of WNBC in New York. During that time he was named the “National Program
Director of the Year” and was individually responsible for hiring national
radio personalities Dom Imus and Wolfman Jack. When his radio career began in
the late 1950’s, Pat worked at a variety of stations, ranging from WCAP
